We supply new PCs to order with the main advantage of buying through us being a 2 year on-site warranty. Nor do we clutter our installations with frankly useless software products as do most commercial manufacturers.
All of our basic PCs run Windows XP home edition unless otherwise asked for. As well as having performance and reliability chosen hardware, our Windows installation is tweaked to run faster as well as having a superior free anti-virus product installed.
All PCs are supplied in black and silver, with matching 19″ tft monitor, keyboard and mouse when required.
When installed by us the customer will have nothing further to do but use it!
Our business level PCs use XP Pro and twin RAID hard-drives to make data loss a thing of the past.
For the gaming enthusiasts we design top-end PCs superior to anything available from the High Street.
Any customer data can be added either during manufacture or on site when installed. We are expert at all aspects of recovering E-Mails etc. etc.
Laptops
Oaklands is a re-seller of Acer and Lenovo laptops but with a difference. We erase the installation as supplied and replace it with a correctly formatted and performance enhanced one with added functionality. As with a PC a superior and free anti-virus product is used.
With any computer the Hard-Drive quality and speed makes the greatest proportionate difference to the overall performance of the computer. As a result we frequently (to order) replace the entire hard-drive with a much higher performing one giving you a lightning quick laptop with a 3year warranty!
Printers and other Hardware
We recommend certain manufacturers for every product that we supply. This is based on our own field experience gained over a long periods of time. As a result warranty support and running costs are kept to a minimum as well as the customer having a superior quality product installed. We usually stock Routers, Modems, Network Cards, Keyboards, Mice, many different cables, All-in-one Printers and much more.
